Our team at Together Program is incredibly saddened by the recent violent acts of injustice against the black community. There are not adequate words to express our frustration and outrage at the current state of our country.
Together Program was founded in recognition of the persistent educational achievement gap, in which tools and opportunities for success are not provided equally to all students. Our mission is to support struggling students during these times, when academic disparities are more pronounced than ever. We know our country, our world, was not founded on equal grounds. We know that power structures were deliberately created to sink those in oppression even further and rise those already in power to greater heights.
